Ba Tri, Ben Tre – Greenwind, an international manufacturer of sustainable outdoor furniture, today celebrated the groundbreaking of its new state-of-the-art factory in Bến Tre, located in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. The facility will focus on high-quality, circular, and recyclable outdoor furniture while also making a significant economic impact on the local community.

Greenwind’s new factory will showcase innovative and sustainable manufacturing practices. The company’s commitment to sustainability means that materials used in production will be where possible recycled and reused, minimising waste and environmental impact. A grand opening event is planned for early 2025, demonstrating how the company transforms natural materials into beautiful, durable outdoor furniture.
Creating Jobs, Fostering Economic Growth
The factory is expected to create 1,100 jobs in its initial phase, potentially increasing to 3,500 jobs as production ramps up. This will significantly boost employment opportunities in the Ba Tri region, contributing to the local economy’s development.
Company Strategy and Timeline
Greenwind’s investment in this new factory aligns with its overarching strategy to prioritize sustainability and innovation in the outdoor furniture industry. Construction is expected to take approximately one year, with the factory slated for completion by mid-2025. The facility will adhere to the highest environmental standards, including BSCI and LEED certification.
