Construction Progress at Greenwind Factories: A Major Milestone in Sustainable Manufacturing

In the fast-paced and ever-evolving business landscape of Vietnam, staying on schedule is no small feat. However, we’re thrilled to report that construction at our Greenwind factories is advancing according to plan, setting us up for an exciting future. Below, we take a closer look at our two factory projects and what lies ahead for Greenwind.

Ba Tri: Ahead of Schedule and Leading the Way

Our Ba Tri project in the Mekong Delta has made significant headway—four months ahead of schedule, to be exact. This achievement is nothing short of impressive given the challenges that often come with large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Milestones:

  • Steel Framework & Rebar: Completed, providing the backbone of the factory.
  • Concrete Foundation: Fully laid, supporting our long-term vision for sustainability.
  • Underground Water & Firefighting Tanks: Installed, ensuring safety and compliance with local regulations.

We expect the factory to be structurally completed by mid-December, and the official handover will happen by mid-January. At this stage, we will be integrating older machinery and finalizing our HR plans to start operations as soon as possible.

Binh Dinh: Finalizing Renovations and Preparing for Production

In Binh Dinh, the renovation phase is nearing its conclusion. The factory, located in the furniture-manufacturing heartland of Quy Nhon, is getting a fresh makeover to ensure it’s ready for the modern demands of wood processing and sustainable production.

Recent Developments:

  • Roofing & Machinery Installation: Finished, ensuring a sturdy and fully operational workspace.
  • Flooring & Interior Painting: Wrapping up now, creating a clean and optimized environment for production.

Excitingly, we plan to start production in just two weeks. Customers will soon be able to visit and witness our factory operations firsthand, marking a new chapter in our growth.

Greenwind’s Vision: Empowering Employment and Industry Leadership

Together, the Ba Tri and Binh Dinh factories will create employment for around 1,700 people once fully operational. These factories will help us meet an ambitious goal: delivering approximately 5,000 containers per year to customers around the globe. Notably, the Greenwind facility in the Mekong will likely be the largest outdoor furniture manufacturing plant in the region.

Looking Ahead: Indoor Furniture and Expanding Our Capabilities

While Greenwind has long been recognized for our outdoor furniture, we’re excited to share that indoor furniture production is on the horizon. As part of our long-term strategy, we plan to diversify our product offerings, enhancing our role as a leader in sustainable furniture manufacturing.
